How is Chino (chenodeoxycholic acid) taken?
The recommended dosage is 300-400 mg taken orally, in two-three divided doses per day. The dose may be increased or decreased according to age and symptoms up to a maximum daily dose of 600 mg1.
Warning: administer carefully to patients with ulcerative lesions in the digestive tract, patients with gallstones in the bile duct and patients with a history of liver damage1.
